Believe it or not, as a consumer you may not think much of it, but there is plenty of preparation that goes into place to assure a sale and healthy sales for the store. So you better be neat, and plan accordingly because the last thing you want is for the store manager to come by and see your area looking disheveled or un-kept. To a Winn Dixie store manager this is serious business because their store bonus comes from total sales.

I quickly found out that in order for any teenager to enjoy success in any part-time job, he or she has to be responsible. There are always going to be rules that they must follow, and they must be punctual and hard working. If you have those qualities that you can be one employee that will quickly move up the chain in a supermarket store like Winn Dixie. I have seen it with my own eyes. 6 months in frozen foods, and then the next thing you know they are offering you a front end supervisory position. It can happen and it does happen.
